A real estate professional for 20 years, Curtis is passionate about his job. He looks at each client as an individual and works to meet their specific needs. His main goal is to make the process as stress-free as possible. He feels that buying a new home is a time of excitement and he wants every one of his clients to enjoy the process just as much as he does! He loves the idea of inspiring people to make positive and memorable life changes. His first year in the business, he earned Coldwell Banker’s Lincoln Park Plaza "Rookie of the Year" Award and has been a successful producer ever since.
Before Real estate he worked for 25 years in the service industry, He believes in putting people first and always provides clear and honest communication. Curtis wants his clients to have a positive experience with every transaction. One thing Curtis loves about the business is that it’s constantly changing. He loves learning about new technology and marketing strategies. He stays up to date on changes by attending ongoing professional development and making use of the many resources offered by Coldwell Banker. He is currently serving on Coldwell Banker leadership team as the City Central Sales Specialist. While still in sales he is responsible for coaching, training, and recruiting new talent to the Coldwell Banker team.
Although Curtis received his Bachelors' degree from Louisiana State (LSU), he has spent most of his adult life in LGBTQ+ metropolitan Cities. A resident of the Chicago area for many years, via New Orleans, via Los Angles. Curtis loves getting to know the cities that he has called home. Looking for a great restaurant? Want to know where to find a park close to the lake? He is a great community resource. Most of his business is on Chicago's North side, in Lakeview, Boys Town, Rogers Park, Lincoln Park, Edgewater, Andersonville, and Evanston, but he has done business all over the city.
Curtis has been active in the LGBTQ+ community for many years. He is a past president of the National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals.(NAGLREP) He won the 2019 "Chicago Agent Magazines' Volunteer of the year award for his work with LGBTQ+ community. He is looking forward serving on leadership team of "The Alliance".
